About ChopCity

ChopCity is a marketplace that connects customers with independent restaurants and food vendors. Each vendor is responsible for its food, prices, preparation, delivery arrangements and its own return & refund policy.

Accounts

• You must give accurate details and verify your email address.
• Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend accounts that commit fraud, abuse staff or riders, or break these terms.

Orders and payment

• Prices and availability are set by vendors and may change.
• Online payments are made directly to the vendor through Paystack or Hubtel.
• Where a vendor arranges its own delivery, the delivery fee is agreed between you and the vendor and paid to them directly.

Problems with an order

Contact the vendor first using its return & refund policy. If it is not resolved, use "Report vendor" and our team will review it.

Vendors

Vendors pay a subscription to use ChopCity. Accounts are disabled automatically when the subscription is not paid. Vendors must follow food-safety laws and honour their published policies.

Liability

ChopCity provides the platform only and is not the seller of the food. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses arising from a vendor's products or services.
